Impact with Martin Garber-Conrad of Edmonton Community Foundation on Social Finance

What is “Social Finance?
Why should we care?

Edmonton Community Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer Martin Garber-Conrad has been leading efforts to mobilize investment in social enterprises for much of his adult life. Many in Edmonton know him for his work in the 1990s to establish the Kids in the Hall restaurant, a very successful social enterprise for youth at risk, at City Hall. As CEO at ECF Martin leads one of Canada’s largest charities.
